Babybeats is a CD of
fun, "teen-friendly" hip-hop songs about parenting skills and pregnancy
health issues. Babybeats is performed by teens from the Chaska, Minnesota-based
New Beginnings High School Program for teen moms. Babybeats also focuses
on the importance of bonding with your baby through music by providing some
nursery rhyme songs that are great for singing and playing with your baby.
"Studies have shown that parents can prepare their children for academic success by exposing them to music in utero and as infants." Cd Objectives The objectives of this CD are to educate teen mothers and fathers on pregnancy awareness, health issues, and parenting skills. More specifically, Baby Beats focuses on the importance of bonding with your baby through music.
